Balancing athletic allure and timeless elegance is Dior's spring/summer 2025 collection. Last September, artist SAGG Napoli opened the show in a utilitarian ensemble carrying an archer's bow—symbolic of the sporty essence of the collection. Characterised by clean lines, graphic elements and the use of dynamic fabrics like lightweight jersey, the garments also paid homage to the brand's diverse oeuvre with its seamless interplay of the old and the new. This time, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri turned to the archives for inspiration—with the most notable reference being the Amazone dress from Dior's fall/winter 1951 collection.

Apart from incorporating plenty of geometric stripes and checks, other striking pairings included white dress shirts styled with black skirts and pants, as well as sleek bomber jackets embellished with vibrant red accents. Meanwhile, sophisticated eveningwear dresses and shimmering wrap skirts were a nod to the brand's classic femininity.

While brand icons like the Dior Saddle and Lady Dior made appearances in fresh reiterations, brand-new silhouettes like the D-Journey stood out for their streamlined graphics and textural contrasts. Coming in either the Dior Oblique jacquard or Dior Graphic statement print, the D-Journey combines refined craftsmanship and utility with its supple, fluid lines and capacious central compartment.
