Fresh off her Wicked press tour in Japan, Ariana Grande brought another dose of pink to the red carpet at the SAG Awards. The actress and singer wore a custom Loewe dusty-pink off-the-shoulder gown covered in flowers. She had her blonde hair styled in a ponytail and accessorised with Jared Atelier jewelry and Aldo heels.
Ariana Grande was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role at the SAG Awards ceremony. She and the rest of the Wicked cast also share a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
She was one of the evening’s presenters as well, along with her co-stars Cynthia Erivo, Bowen Yang, and Michelle Yeoh.

On February 11, The Hollywood Reporter published an interview with Grande where she spoke about how much her portrayal of Wicked’s Glinda means to her, as well as the difference between acting and singing.
“It’s a beautiful thing to feel like the work that I’m doing or have done is kind of, I suppose, I don’t know, enough or louder or whatever it is,” she said. “This feeling that people are seeing me—like, actually me—it’s so silly because I’ve been seen for so long, but it feels like it’s maybe for the first time and it’s just different.”
She continued: “At a certain point, you get tired of that [pop star] character, because it is a character. There are pieces of you and your story that are woven throughout your songwriting, but then, because of the way it travels and becomes sensationalized, it gets away from you. And beneath all of it is just a girl from Boca [Raton, Florida] who loves art, and I think that’s why it’s been such a deeply healing gift to disappear into this character—to take off one mask and put on another.”
