Cannes Film Festival 2019: The Best Red Carpet Looks

If you’re still reeling from the camp, fab and meme fodder that’s come of 2019’s Met Gala, know that the red carpet dress codes have taken a 180 at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival which fetes cinema’s finest. Glamour is served straight-up with no frills—but the haute couture ruffles more than make up for it.

While the 12-day affair (14-25 May) is still on its first leg, marquee outfits have already made their entrance. At the screening of The Dead Don’t Die, jury member Elle Fanning’s vintage-esque Gucci gown is well, TDF, and cast member Selena Gomez rocked up in leggy Louis Vuitton for her first Cannes film premiere.
