When the fanny packs and belt bags started making appearances on the runway last Spring, the fashion universe assumed it was a passing nostalgia for the ’90s. A year on, there are more belt bags than we expected — both in stores and on the runway. What’s more, they are going both ways down the fashion spectrum — more affordable and polished. So, be assured you can invest in these pieces. After all, with Dior’s return of the Saddle handbag and Fendi’s recent Baguette relaunch at the start of this year, we’re thinking that the ’90s will be back for a while.
