For the first time ever, Chanel has departed from its original design to unveil the new limited edition N°5 L’EAU.

Created in 2016 by perfumer Olivier Polge, N°5 L’EAU is a powerful fresh floral fragrance that takes the original notes of N°5 to create a new, fresh, balanced scent for a new generation of mademoiselles. It features notes of citrus lemon, orange, and mandarin orange enhanced with aldehydes—a synthetic group of ingredients that lend a clean and powdery character to any fragrance it is added to. It's also layered with florals like jasmine, rose, and ylang-ylang, and tied together with vetiver and cedar wood. The result? A beautifully vibrant and abstract scent suitable for every occasion and emotion.

The new limited edition bottle design has a small transparent oval shape—resembling a pebble or a beam of light in its simplest form. Chanel's limited edition N°5 L’EAU will be available at $236 for 50ml online from 13 June 2024. From 14 June 2024, it'll be available at CHANEL Fragrance and Beauty boutiques at ION Orchard, JEM, Parkway Parade, Raffles City, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, and VivoCity. It'll also be available at CHANEL Fragrance and Beauty counters at Takashimaya and Tangs from 14 June.
